A great way to facilitate interaction between the participants and speaker & participants demonstrated the Summit of newthinking. Instead of the usual stage setting, the conference with the topic „Open Strategies“ provided Y-shaped tables. This spaces concept had some clear advantages to facilitate human interaction: Not only were the audience and the speaker on eye-level during the talk, the lack of backstage made an exchange with the speaker after each session very easy and direct. Addionally the Y-Table setting was suitable for inputs as well as workshops or spontaneous discussions.
The space concept facilitated interaction between the participants, who were not kept in lines of chairs, but could arrange themselves in a rather flexible setting that triggered communication and exchange.
